Getting healthier is about making healthy food and drink choices carmencoop, being physically

yourself. It can be challenging to make changes to your diet or exercise habits,
especially if you have a busy schedule.
Eating the right foods and drinking the right amounts of water, as well as getting
enough rest and exercise, will keep you feeling your best and help prevent many
diseases and health problems from forming. Developing these healthy habits will
pay off for your whole life!
Try these tips to be healthier:
- EAT A VARIETY OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AT EVERY MEAL Choose brightly
coloured fresh and frozen vegetables, fruit and legumes. - DRINK A LOT OF WATER Instead of sugary drinks, choose water or low-fat,
unsweetened milk. - CHOOSE HEALTHY COOKED FOODS MORE OFTEN Cooking at home makes it
easier to avoid processed foods and increase your intake of fresh, natural fruits,
vegetables, legumes, nuts and whole grains.
- LISTEN TO YOUR BODY AND EAT AT REGULAR TIMES
Aim to eat at least three meals and have snacks in between. It is harder to eat
healthy when you are hungry. - GET MORE MOMENTS FOR HEALTHY MOVES
Be physically active for 30 minutes most days of the week. If you can’t fit this in,
break it up into three 10-minute sessions if possible. - TAKE YOUR TIME AND EAT LIGHTLY
